My concentration is a representation of my trip to Nicaragua. The first image is more literal, and the second is more abstract. On the second one I need to work more on the perspective.
I like these pieces, and they're a step up from your last ones. You should try for more realism, because when you're doing encaustic, you'll always end up with a fairly impressionistic result. I've seen people put strings and stuff in encaustic pieces, maybe you should try that?
Oh man. Are these precious or what! I think the top one was better since it's easier to figure out what it is and it has a better sense of place then your garbage one. The second one goes more with your original two pieces since it's abracter but what do I know. I think it just needs better dimensions within the piece like a middle ground.
